Role Overview

As a Junior IoT Web Developer in India, you will contribute to the development and maintenance of modern web applications that enable visualization of machine data, alerts, and diagnostics. You will collaborate with international teams in Germany and China, as well as the IT Dev Hub India, to deliver intuitive, high-performance user interfaces and ensure seamless integration with backend services.

Your work will focus on React and TypeScript, with opportunities to support full stack development (C#/.NET) and backend integration. You will gain hands-on experience in usability, scalability, and reliability of Putzmeister’ s IoT web solutions while growing into a senior-level role.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain modern web applications (Service Cockpit UI) using React and TypeScript for machine data visualization, alerts, performance, and diagnostics.
• Integrate telemetry and real-time data (REST/SignalR/WebSockets) and visualize trends and anomalies.
• Collaborate closely with international development teams (Germany, China, IT-Dev-Hub India); integrate with SAP/IT systems as needed.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and specifications.
• Implement and maintain automated software tests (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library).
• Continuously improving development processes, code quality, and deployment pipelines (CI/CD).
• (Optional Full stack) Support backend service integration (C#/.NET).

Requirements

• Experience Range: 3 to 5 years in web application development.
• Degree in Computer Science or a comparable qualification.
• Practical experience in developing web applications with React and TypeScript.
• Exposure to API integration (REST, SignalR/WebSockets).
• Knowledge of frontend architecture, state management (e.g., Redux, Zustand), and build/testing tools (e.g., Vite, Storybook).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment of web applications.
• Strong communication skills in English, especially in international and intercultural contexts.
• Eagerness to learn and grow into fullstack development (C#/.NET) and backend integration.

Desirable Qualifications

• Open to non-web-oriented UI frameworks and solutions.
• Skilled in UI design and usability.

Location & Travel

• Location: Bangalore (Hybrid) – 2 weeks from office & 2 weeks from home.
• Travel: Based on project requirements.

• Experience working with international development teams, especially with locations in Germany and China.
