The Supplier Quality Engineer (Hydraulics and Pumps) is responsible for ensuring the quality of supplier-provided components and assemblies in the hydraulics and pumps domain. This role involves supplier evaluation, quality audits, and process improvement initiatives, focusing on components critical to hydraulic systems and pump performance. The individual will support the Supplier Quality Lead in achieving organizational goals related to cost, quality, and delivery.

Educational Background:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Hydraulic Engineering, or a related field.

Experience:

• 5-10 years of experience in supplier quality management, with a focus on hydraulics and pumps.
• Proven expertise in auditing and managing suppliers in the hydraulics and pump domain.

Technical Skills:

• Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems, pump mechanisms, and associated quality requirements.
• Proficiency in quality tools and methodologies such as PPAP, APQP, 8D, and SPC.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards and supplier quality management systems.

Soft Skills:

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and solve complex quality issues.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for supplier collaboration.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
