• Involved in new source/alternate source development for existing products for price competitiveness, reliable quality product.
• Negotiate and Finalize prices with vendor base and favorable terms & conditions to ensure cost effectiveness.
• Localization of parts/components to meet existing product functionality.
• Component NPD and Should be cost estimation.
• ECN/ECR change management.
• Risk Management – Identify potential risks in supply chain and develop plan to mitigate risks.
• Collaboration with CFT team to get the product approval.
• Resolving Quality Issues to facilitate production adherence.
• Work closely with the project management team to meet project timelines and requirements and aligning sourcing activities accordingly.
