• Responsible welding coordinator as per ISO 14731.
• Develop and implement methods and processes as needed for inspecting, testing and evaluating steel structures (includes welding and machining).
• Implementation of PM requirements and relevant standards (ISO, EN, etc.) related to welding.
• Ensure certification to ISO 3834-2 & ISO 9001.
• Co-ordinate inspection with third party.
• Inspection of welding joints.
• Process audits of steel structures to ensure quality requirements are followed.
• Ensure compliance of suppliers to PM requirements and relevant standards (ISO, EN, etc.) related to welding.
• Analysis and reporting as appropriate.

• Engineering Degree (Mechanical)
• International Welding Engineer as per IIW (International Institute of Welding)
• Working knowledge of ISO 3834-2 & ISO 9001 quality management system standard
• Welding related activities i.e. WPS, PQR, Welder Certification etc.
• Non-destructive testing of welding joints.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications especially related to welding.
• Knowledge of basic measurement techniques
