• You are responsible for engineering a world class Putzmeister enterprise data management platform and driving continuous improvement for a world class data science company.
• You have hands-on experience in designing and implementing data pipelines to efficiently collect, process, and stream data from sensors on concrete pumps.
• You are responsible for the full data life cycle by ensuring seamless integration with SQL and Microsoft Azure Cloud Services such as IoT Hub, Stream Analytics, DataBricks, Blob Storage, Monitoring and Logging Services, DevOps, Data Factory, Data Lake Storage for data streaming and storage, data processing, cloud management, database management, Power BI integration.
• You ensure all data sources are accurate, congruent, reliable, and secure within our PM Azure, Siemens and SAP environment.
• You support the integration of enterprise application databases like SAP and real time processing from loT sources into the data lake platform.
• You build, test, monitor and maintain a highly scalable data management ecosystem on Azure.
• You execute architected techniques and solutions for data collection, management, and usage.
• You are responsible for data cleaning, data availability, data models and database performance in the field of ETL/ELT
• You have a deep interest in the data and analytics market with ability to constantly evaluate new ways to enhance the telemetry system and train it to be smarter and more scalable.
• You contribute in implementing data governance policies to ensure the quality, accuracy and consistency of data across the entire pipeline with security measures to safeguard sensitive information and comply with industry regulations.
• You implement monitoring solutions to track the performance and health of data pipelines and databases. Continuously optimize data processing workflows for improved efficiency and reduced latency.
• You create and maintain comprehensive documentation for data pipelines, databases, and integration processes. Provide training and support to end-users from other functionalities of Putzmeister on utilizing data solutions effectively.
• You work with stakeholders including data, design, product, and executive teams and assisting them with data-related technical issues.
• Your work with stakeholders including the IT, Product, and loT-Data teams to support their data infrastructure needs while assisting with data-related technical issues.
• You stay current with industry best practices and emerging technologies related to data engineering and cloud computing. Implement and adhere to coding standards, version control, and deployment practices.
• You participate in establishing data strategy together with the data strategist, data scientist, and in line of business associate’s new system features/functionalities and help bring thoughtfully curated data system and products that the complete organization can trust.

• You have 5+ years of programming experience in one or more of the following programming languages SQL, Python, Scala and Java.

• Successfully completed a bachelor’s or master’s degree computer/information science or comparable studies and training or hands-on experience as a Data Engineer
• Experience of data engineering, data development and integration scenarios with Enterprise Data Warehouse and/or data Lake environments
• Knowledge of data processing, hardware platforms, and enterprise software, technical experience with enterprise systems, databases, and user support
• Basic knowledge in data security, data privacy, GDPR and all technical aspects in Europe
• Experience with Microsoft Azure, SAP, SalesForce and Siemens solution stack
• Experience with automated software testing and deployment
• Knowledge with agile software development and DevOps environments
