Process Engineering

·       Develop, document, and standardize processes (SOPs, WI, PFD, PFMEA).

·       Conduct time studies and establish accurate routing times in SAP.

·       Support line balancing and capacity planning activities.

Define takt time, process time, manpower requirement, and equipment needs

B. New Product Introduction (NPI)

·       Participate in prototype build, pilot builds, and validation.

·       Coordinate with Design, Quality, Production, and Supply Chain during first builds.

·       Update process documents based on lessons learned from first builds.

·       Ensure manufacturability, ergonomics, tooling, and safety are considered early.

C. Productivity & Continuous Improvement

·       Identify bottlenecks and drive improvements using IE tools (5S, Kaizen, MOST, Lean).

·       Conduct waste elimination (VA/NVA/RNVA) studies.

·       Implement layout modifications for smooth material and operator flow.

·       Support automation and semi-automation projects.

E. Tooling, Jigs & Fixtures

·       Identify tooling needs for new and existing processes.

·       Coordinate with tool room/vendor for fixture design and development.

·       Validate tools for safety, capability, and repeatability.

BTech -  5-7 Yrs

Diploma – 7-10 Yrs

Strong knowledge of Process Engineering and Industrial Engineering concepts

Hands-on experience in NPI and Lean manufacturing
