Core Responsibilities
- Procurement of Spare Parts
- Source and purchase spare parts and components required for machinery and equipment.
- Ensure parts meet quality standards and specifications.
- Supplier Management
- Ensure timely delivery of items as per Purchase Order & in case any additional requirement arise, need to handle the same.
- Inventory Control
- Monitor inventory levels to avoid shortages or overstocking.
- Coordinate with warehouse and maintenance teams to align stock levels with operational needs.
- Cost Optimization
- Develop cost-effective purchasing strategies.
- Analyse market trends to secure competitive pricing.
- Documentation and Compliance
- Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, invoices, and supplier agreements.
- Ensure compliance with legal, environmental, and regulatory standards.
- Cross-Department Coordination
- Collaborate with production, logistics, and finance departments to align procurement with business goals.
- Communicate effectively to resolve issues related to delivery, quality, or inventory2.
