Sourcing Engineer ( Goa)

• Conduct thorough market research to identify potential vendor base in India that can meet PM specification for global requirement.
• Responsible for building a reliable, cost competitive and high quality supply base in India
• Collaborate with Global Category Managers, Engineering and Quality department to promote TCR (Technical Cost Reduction and Risk mitigation projects)
• Responsible for supplier management (qualification, RFQs, negotiations, contracts, developing, relationship management).
• Negotiate and Finalize prices with vendor base and favorable terms & conditions to ensure cost effectiveness.
• Invent negotiation strategies and secure profitable deals
• Risk Management – Identify potential risks in supply chain (aware of the commodity market situation, logistics risks) and develop plan to mitigate risks.
• Work closely with the project management team to meet project timelines and requirements and aligning sourcing activities accordingly.

Education- Minimum B.E Mechanical/ Industrial

Experience-  8 to 10 years of experience in Sourcing of Castings, Forging and Machining components. Fabrication, Plastics, Rubber and other engineering items with an Engineering background.

Experience in Construction Equipment or Concrete machine Industry /OEM preferred.

International business relationship/Cross cultural working experience preferred.

Skills- Understanding of market dynamics and sound business judgement. Component Cost estimation & Manufacturing Process Knowledge, Value Engineering & Strong Negotiator. Good Management skill and Teamwork spirit. Project Management, Risk Management and Time Management.

Business fluent English language.
